Firearms ship to the licensed dealer you choose. Ammunition, magazines and accessories ship to your door.

Shipping cost

• $29.99 flat rate per order.
• Free shipping on orders over $999.
• Your FFL dealer charges a separate transfer fee, paid to them at pickup. It is often $20 to $60. Call to confirm.

How a firearm gets to you

1. Sort out your permit, if you need one. For a handgun or a semiautomatic military-style assault weapon (most AR and AK pattern rifles), Minnesota dealers need to see a permit to purchase or a permit to carry (Minn. Stat. 624.7131). The permit to purchase is free from your police department or sheriff and can take up to 30 days. Ordinary rifles and shotguns need no permit.
2. Choose a dealer. Any federally licensed (FFL) dealer that does transfers: gun shops, many sporting-goods and hardware stores, some pawn shops, in the Twin Cities, Duluth, Rochester, St. Cloud, Brainerd or wherever you are. Call first to confirm they accept shipped transfers.
3. Enter the dealer at checkout. Name, city and state is enough. The FFL number helps if you have it.
4. We confirm the license. We get a copy of the dealer's license before the firearm ships.
5. Pick up. Bring government photo ID with your current address, and your permit where one applies. The dealer completes ATF Form 4473 and the NICS background check with you.

Handguns must go to a dealer in your state of residence. Long guns can go to a dealer in another state only where the sale is legal in both states. We never ship a firearm to a home address.

When it ships

Orders usually leave within 1–3 business days after payment clears and, for firearms, once we have your dealer's license. You receive tracking by email. Winter storms slow ground freight across the Upper Midwest a few times a year. If a carrier delay affects your order, the tracking page shows it first.

Items from partner warehouses

Some items ship from partner distributors instead of our main warehouse. These usually ship within 1–3 weeks, and we email you if yours will take longer. If we cannot ship an item within 30 days of your order, we tell you and refund it in full, or you can choose to keep waiting.

Ammunition

• Ammunition ships to Minnesota home addresses. The state requires no license or permit to receive it.
• You must be 18 or older for rifle and shotgun ammunition and 21 or older for handgun ammunition.
• It travels by ground only, never air, so it often arrives after the rest of your order.
• An adult signature may be required on delivery.
• A person barred from possessing firearms under Minn. Stat. 624.713 is also barred from possessing ammunition.
• Some other states and cities restrict direct ammunition shipments. If we cannot ship legally to an address, we cancel that item and refund you.

Magazines and rifle features

As of our last review Minnesota sets no limit on magazine capacity and has no feature-based ban on semi-automatic rifles, so standard-capacity magazines ship to Minnesota addresses normally. The purchase-permit rule above still applies to the rifles the statute defines as semiautomatic military-style assault weapons. If you are sending a magazine or accessory to another state, check the rules where it is going.

What we do not ship

Binary triggers and every other part designed to raise a firearm's rate of fire are not listed; Minnesota regulates trigger activators under Minn. Stat. 609.67. We do not sell NFA items (suppressors, short-barreled rifles or shotguns, machine guns). You are responsible for making sure what you order is legal where you live. If an order cannot be lawfully completed, we cancel it and refund you in full.
