Buying a handgun online in Minnesota

Handguns ship to a Minnesota FFL dealer, never to your door. To pick one up the dealer needs to see a permit to purchase or transfer, issued free by your police chief or county sheriff under Minn. Stat. 624.7131, or a valid Minnesota permit to carry. Without either, the sale goes through a slower transfer report. Apply before you order and pickup takes one visit.
